A targeted retinoid or vitamin A treatment designed to address early signs of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, and pigmentation while supporting overall skin clarity and smoothness.
Retinal (Retinaldehyde) supports accelerated cellular turnover and collagen renewal, helping to refine skin texture, minimise visible pigmentation, and improve firmness. It may also be used on acne-prone skin, as retinal exhibits antibacterial activity and helps prevent pore congestion at the follicular level.
Retinal is a more advanced retinoid along the vitamin A pathway than retinol, meaning it requires significantly lower concentrations to be effective and is more readily converted to the active retinoic acid in the skin. This allows for high efficacy with improved tolerability compared to traditional retinol.
As an active ingredient, retinal may still cause irritation in first-time users. A patch test is recommended prior to use. Introduce slowly within a skin-cycling routine, applying every 3–4 nights initially and increasing frequency gradually as tolerated.
NOTE: Retinal is bright yellow in colour. As it is recommended to use in your night routine it can leave a yellow tint on pillow cases. Easily removed with washing.

Use 2-3 pumps of Retinal 0.1% Serum onto dry , clean skin every 3-4 nights. Build up as tolerated to every night.
Using on dry skin enables better penetration into the skin and hence effectiveness. Waita few minutes before adding other essences, serums and moisturisers.
Use as part of a skin cycling regime with other actives.
